Myla Green has 15 years of experience serving in non-profit roles, primarily in the Jewish community. Her previous professional experience includes two year-long fellowships working on women’s issues through American Jewish World Service in India and Avodah: The Jewish Service Corps in Washington D.C.; four years doing development and administrative work at Keshet, the national LGBT Jewish non-profit; and cofounding JewBer, a local Jewish response to COVID-19. She spent seven years managing Dance New England, a community-based dance non-profit that creates an annual family dance camp for 700 people in Tolland, MA.
Myla holds a BA in Women's Studies from Illinois Wesleyan University and spent her junior year abroad at Pembroke College, Oxford. In May 2019, she earned a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice in affiliation with Tufts University's Tisch College of Civic Life, and most recently graduated from Hornstein/Heller at Brandeis University with a dual Jewish Professional Leadership MA/Social Impact MBA.
A four-time marathoner, she currently lives in a cooperative house in Cambridge and enjoys hiking, musicals, and Salsa Rueda.
Bridget grew up in Western Massachusetts and is happy to be back in her home state after living in Louisiana for several years. She has a Master of Jewish Education from Hebrew College, as well as an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art (focusing on playwriting and puppetry) from Goddard College, and a BA in Theatre Arts from Mount Holyoke College. She enjoys attending and creating theater, making art, reading books, and outdoor activities such as hiking and camping with her husband David and children Anton and Leora.
Erika grew up in Wilmington, Delaware in Congregation Beth Shalom and attended the Gratz Hebrew High School evening program. She came to Massachusetts to study at Tufts University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and met her husband. She spent much of her career developing and implementing Information Systems at various power plants and on the Department of Energy Superconducting Super Collider project before pulling back to raise her three sons. She still keeps her hand in the tech world by answering the call to neighbors in need of tech support. She is also a Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutor. She loves traveling, cooking and reading and is a sports spectator enthusiast. She and her eldest son are on a mission to visit all of the MLB Ballparks.
Lorraine, is a graduate of Bentley University and has worked for over 30 years in non-profit and for profit environments, as a bookkeeper, accountant and office manager. Lorraine was born and raised in New York City, and now lives in Grafton, with her husband and two cats. Her hobbies are gardening, herbalism, organic farming and cooking.
Luis was born in Guatemala. He moved to Boston with his mother when he was 7. He is married and has 2 children. When he is not working at Temple Reyim he enjoys cooking traditional Spanish fare with his wife and exercising with his children.
